Utilizing a theoretical framework developed from existing research, the authors conducted a qualitative comparative analysis (QCA) on a selection of African-led initiatives from the Seeds of Good Anthropocenes (SOGA) database. The findings indicate that networking is the most significant factor contributing to transformative potential among the initiatives analyzed. This research provides a foundational framework for future comparative studies aimed at identifying key properties that facilitate sustainability transformations.
