Rob Alkemade has an agricultural background and studied plant disease management, communication, and statistics at Wageningen University. He briefly worked at Oxfam-Novib before earning a Ph.D. in marine ecology at the Netherlands Institute of Ecological Research. His expertise spans ecology, scenario analysis, and integrated modelling.
