Dr. Berchie Asiedu visits Dr. Ling Cao at Xiamen University
As part of the Solving-FCB project, Dr. Berchie Asiedu paid a working visit to Dr. Ling Cao at the State Key Laboratory of Environmental Science (Xiamen University). The visit took place between September and October 2024. During the visit, Berchie delivered a presentation on the topic “Overview of blue foods in Ghana”. Berchie also paid a visit to some aquaculture installations and interacted with staff and students at the State Key Laboratory of Environmental Science.

Inception Workshop for the Solving-FCB Ghana Project
The Ghana Inception Workshop of the Solving the Sustainability Challenges at the Food-Climate-Biodiversity Nexus (Solving-FCB) Project was held on 24th September, 2024 at the ACECoR Multipurpose Building, University of Cape Coast, Ghana. VIDEO: West Africa Case Study Project Inception Meeting
The West Africa team met for the Case Study Inception Meeting on Zoom on March 28, 2024. The Case Study aims to resolve FCB challenges related to IUU (Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated) fishing and plastic pollution in the Gulf of Guinea, with a focus on Ghana and Nigeria. This inception meeting is the official launch of the West Africa Case Study providing an overview of the project as well as collaborators and partners.
